Teleprompter Pro: Video Script — Privacy Policy

1. WHO WE ARE
This Privacy Policy explains how VoxelNova ("we", "us", "our") handles information in the Android app Teleprompter Pro: Video Script (package name com.voxelnova.teleprompter), referred to below as "the app". VoxelNova is the developer and publisher of the app and is responsible for it.
By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. INFORMATION THE APP HANDLES ON YOUR DEVICE
The app works locally on your phone. The following information is created and kept only on your device:
- Videos you record. Saved to your device's gallery in the folder Movies/Teleprompter. We never receive them. You can view, share or delete them with your gallery or file manager.
- Your script text. Saved in the app's private storage so it is there the next time you open the app.
- Your settings. Scrolling speed, font size, prompter size, background opacity, mirror mode and the selected camera, saved in the app's private storage.
If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include the app's script and settings in your device backup, which is stored by Google under your account and governed by Google's privacy policy. Recorded videos are part of your gallery and follow your own gallery and cloud backup settings.
Uninstalling the app deletes the saved script and settings. Recorded videos remain in your gallery until you delete them.

3. PERMISSIONS THE APP REQUESTS
- Camera: shows the live camera view behind your script and records video. The camera is only used while the app is open on screen.
- Microphone: records sound together with your video. If you deny it, videos are recorded without sound.
- Storage (Android 9 and older only): saves recorded videos to your gallery. Newer Android versions do not need this permission.
- Internet and network state: used only to load ads and the ad consent form. Recording and the teleprompter work without an internet connection.
Camera and microphone data are processed only on your device to create your video. They are not sent to us or to advertising partners.

4. ADVERTISING AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The app is free and shows ads using Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. A full-screen ad may appear after a recording is saved. Ads are never shown while you are recording.
To deliver, personalize (where permitted) and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the app may automatically collect and share with Google:
- your device's advertising ID (Android advertising ID);
- IP address, from which approximate location may be derived;
- device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language and app version;
- ad interaction data, such as ads shown and clicked;
- diagnostic data, such as crash logs and performance information related to the ads SDK.
This information is collected and processed by Google, not by VoxelNova. We do not receive information that identifies you personally. Google's use of this data is described in Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and in "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services" (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites).

Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform to ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the app: open Settings and tap Privacy.

Controlling ads
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalization, in your Android settings under Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on your device). You may still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.

5. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
VoxelNova does not operate servers that receive data from the app. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or the content of your scripts and videos. We do not sell your personal information.
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to reply to you and delete it when it is no longer needed for that purpose.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The app is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is intended for users aged 13 and older.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the app, please contact us at the email address below. We will take steps to delete that information, and where it was collected by an advertising partner, we will help you request its deletion.

7. DATA RETENTION AND SECURITY
Your videos, script and settings are kept on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Data collected by Google for advertising is retained according to Google's own retention policies.
Data sent by the ads SDK is transmitted using encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we choose established, reputable services and keep the app's own data on your device.

8. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Because the app's own data stays on your device, you can delete it yourself at any time by deleting your videos and uninstalling the app. For data processed by Google for advertising, you can use the ad controls described above or Google's tools at https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy. For any other request, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when the law requires it. The new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's update description on Google Play.
